The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Panitch's endorsement of Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul, a former Georgia GOP chair, in the mayoral race.
Panitch voiced support for Brian Kemp's plan to run against Senator Jon Ossoff - prioritizing fighting for Israel over opposing Kemp's lethal abortion ban.
"Kemp has done things that I am fighting against every day" but Ossoff's conduct was "a different level of betrayal."

Greenberg runs ECI Group, an Atlanta apartment developer and property manager. ECI agreed to a $2.4 million class-action settlement over security-deposit practices in Georgia. ECI was also among the landlord defendants in the RealPage (AI Price Fixing) antitrust litigation. Greenberg also gave $10,000 to Brian Kemp's leadership committee.
Zalik founded GreenSky, and Forbes still lists him as a billionaire. In 2021, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ordered GreenSky to provide up to $9 million in refunds or loan cancellations and pay a $2.5 million civil penalty after finding the company enabled unauthorized consumer loans. Zalik also gave $85,000 to Brian Kemp's leadership committee.
